This is an introductory workshop to provide you with a basic understanding of an organization's planning and budgeting process.The course will review why organizations budget and the process they use to create budgets. Attention will be given to what information is necessary and where to obtain it. A basic budget will be developed with focus upon alternative methods organizations may use. Finally, the course will review how performance is measured against the budget and how this affects future planning and decision-making.
