Introduction to Refugee Program Supervision and Management

This course is one of four courses in the Certificate in Refugee Services Advanced Macro Practice.

It explores a variety of programs serving refugees including looking at the statutory foundation for programs, the funding and the services. Grant writing and fundraising challenges for refugee serving agencies will also be covered. Lastly, knowledge and skills specific to supervising staff and volunteers serving refugees will be integral to the course.

This course is offered through the University to both undergraduate and graduate level students seeking credit and through Extended Studies for community professionals not seeking University credit. CEU's will be offered to LMSW's who take the course.

Note: This course is also offered for credit through Boise State University. Please contact Kathy Tidwell at 426-5937 if you want more information.
