Boise State University partners with a variety of outside organizations to offer professional education credits for activities such as conferences, institutes, workshops, trainings and district/building specific professional development.
These credits are graduate level credits and are offered at a reduced rate (typically $60 per credit) to teachers, school counselors/social workers and school administrators for the purpose of recertification or salary increases.
Professional Education credits cannot be used to satisfy degree requirements.
If you are interested in having one of our academic departments review your upcoming activity to determine if it would be eligible for professional education credit, please complete the Professional Education Credits Request Form (PDF) and submit it to jillhella@boisestate.edu.
If you are seeking approval to serve as an instructor for K-12 professional education courses, please complete the Professional Education Instructor Information Form (PDF) and submit it to jillhella@boisestate.edu.
