Investigate Boise is a field-school about Idaho's capital city, its history, politics, and environmental concerns.   Held in summer, the program promotes civic engagement. In the fall, top students work with community experts on an award-winning research series.

Boise State University’s Center on Main, at 1020 Main Street, thrives on the pulse of the city, moving college beyond the classroom, keeping the learning pragmatic and real.  The urban classroom includes a photo and art exhibiton about Boise before urban renewal.
