The following information is a quick resource for both students and faculty advisors:
Transfer Student Information
The School of Social Work at Boise State
University recommends that students intending to transfer to Boise State
meet with the academic advisor at their current institution WELL in advance
of transferring. Most college and university advisors can assist in clarifying
which course transfer, etc.
Students transferring from the College of Southern Idaho or the Treasure Valley Community College will have completed all required course work to apply for upper division social work program. To streamline the process, BSU and these institutions have established an “equivalency agreement” that you can review and print out to assist you in the planning process.
Students transferring from any other accredited institution, please visit the BSU registrar website for additional information. On the registrar website, you may find a link pertaining to your school and some general information about the transfer process. Please keep in mind that you will have to be admitted to the BSU before you can be accepted to the School of Social Work.
