¡Bienvenido! Thanks for your interest in our course, Working with Mexicans: A Workshop for Social Workers, Teachers, Counselors, Health Professionals and Spouses. In the material that follows you will find suggestions for preparation for your participation, a general course description, an application form and explanation of course fees. A course syllabus is available on line. We will also email a copy to you upon receipt of your application.
Please complete the application form and return in with your deposit as quickly as possible. Keep other pages for future reference. We will be sending readings and additional trip preparation information periodically. We are looking forward to your participation.
For best prices plan to book your air travel as early as possible. All participants should plan to arrive in Mexico City before 5 pm on Saturday, June 4. Full Program participants will depart on Sunday, July 3. Option 2 (Two-week Program) only participants will depart on Sunday, June 19.

If you are a full-time student or teacher, you may wish to consider purchasing an International Student/Teacher Identification Card. The $25 card provides basic accident and sickness insurance, emergency evacuation, passport protection and baggage delay insurance. For information: www.travelcuts.com/usa/html/idcards
If you are not a full-time student or teacher, you may wish to consider purchasing travel insurance. Available through most travel agencies, travel insurance provides benefits similar to the International Student/Teacher Identification Card.
If you have your own travel insurance, bring your university student or teacher ID to Mexico. Sometimes these cards will provide free or reduced price entry to museums and archeological sites.
